International Film Festival

Thought-provoking Cinema

Our department sponsors an International Film Festival every February with thought-provoking films in foreign languages. We encourage students and interested members of the Aiken community to attend and participate in the screenings.

All films will be screened in their original language with English subtitles. There will also be a brief faculty-led conversation after each film to discuss the nuances and get deeper insights into the film’s creative and cultural significance. Students receiving ACE credit are required to stay for these post-screening conversations.

Admission is free. All films contain adult themes and are intended for a mature audience.
