Gain a Global Outlook

We live in a complex multicultural society, and our department strives to give USCA students the resources to thrive in the world we live in. Studying abroad increases your cultural and linguistic understanding and helps build your skills and knowledge to compete in the 21st-century workforce. The Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures encourages you to explore different cultures and immerse yourself in a language for fluency and proficiency.

Our language immersion program

Our program is designed for USCA students to earn 3 hours of transfer credit for Spanish 102, Spanish 210, or Spanish 316/317. Courses are taught by professors from Universitas Castellae in Valladolid, a language institution receiving Study Abroad students for over 25 years.

Students will live with host families to further improve their Spanish.
