Program Highlights

So, why pursue an art major at USCA? Whether you choose our art history degree concentration, graphic design degree track, or digital and studio art degree specialization, you’ll expand your professional skills as you learn in small classes, gain hands-on and practical learning experiences, and pursue transcendent research.

You’ll also find, at USCA, that our Bachelor of Arts in Art degrees stand out because we offer:

  • Faculty who have expert knowledge. No matter your interests, you’ll learn from USCA faculty members who will be there to help you learn and thrive. Our art major faculty have expertise ranging from 20th-century Italian art and architecture to commercial photography.
  • An affordable way to move your art career forward. While USCA offers some of the lowest tuition in the state, we also provide scholarships to help you make your learning even more cost-effective.
  • Numerous experiential learning opportunities. All our students have the opportunity to pursue internships and various practicums, and if you’re an art history degree student, you’ll also be able to study abroad in Italy.
  • Top-notch facilities. Our art degree students have access to two state-of-the-art computer labs, 2D and 3D studios, an outdoor sculpture studio with gas kilns, a darkroom, design studio, and three galleries.

Minors are available in Art History and Studio Art.
