MCIS Graduate Studies Scholarships (GSS)
The Graduate Studies Scholarship (GSS) is a competitive award designed to support students enrolled in the Master of Science in Computer and Information Sciences (MCIS) program. The scholarship provides $100 per academic year and is renewable based on academic performance and competitiveness.

- In-state tuition eligibility for non-resident and international students attending on-campus classes.
- The annual scholarship award is $100, subject to renewal based on eligibility.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum undergraduate GPA: 3.0
- Graduate GPA requirement: 3.0 or higher (if graduate coursework has already been completed)
- Must be enrolled in a minimum of nine (9) graduate credit hours per semester:
- Exceptions apply for students in their final semester or enrolled during the summer.
- Cannot receive other scholarships or hold a graduate assistantship simultaneously.
Meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee selection. The Department of Computer Science, Engineering & Mathematics will notify applicants of the outcome.
