5K Run
February 15, 8:00 a.m., Convocation Center
USCA will host an on-campus 5K Run and Fun Run to raise money for the Sandy Rogers and Scotty Richardson Memorial Scholarship. This is a fun, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. You can run or walk the course. The 5K starts at 8 a.m., and the Fun Run starts at 9 a.m.
Homecoming Tailgate
The Black Alumni Council will host the 2025 USCA Homecoming Tailgate
NOTICE 2/13/2025: Due to the inclement weather forecast, the USCA Homecoming Tailgate, scheduled for February 15, has been canceled. However, there will still be engaging opportunities on Saturday. The Spirit Run 5K, the variety of athletic events, and Mardi Gras are all still happening.
We know many were looking forward to the tailgate, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The safety and well-being of our attendees are our top priority, and given the current weather conditions, this decision is the best course of action.
You should have received an email regarding your refund if you purchased a tailgate ticket. We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you at future events. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Each year distinguished alumni who embrace the university's values—character, citizenship, curiosity, and collegiality—are selected to be part of USCA’s Core 4. This year, we will announce the 2024 Core 4 Award winners at the Homecoming ceremonies, specifically during the Homecoming Tailgate and halftime of the men's basketball game.
