DeAnna Gore, chair of the sociology department, discussed the 3rd Annual Homecoming 5K and how to sign up during a WFXG FOX 54 interview. 
Proceeds from race will benefit the  Sandy Rogers and Scotty Richardson Memorial Scholarship in honor of the two Aiken police officers who were tragically killed in the line of duty over a period of two months in 2011 and 2012. 
The race will take place on Feb. 21 at 8 a.m. at the Convocation Center.
