Facility & Instrumentation Access
USCA provides centralized, convenient access to a wide range of research facilities, advanced instrumentation, and faculty expertise to support collaborative research, innovation, and workforce development. Our goal is to streamline access, enhance interdisciplinary work, and provide students, faculty, external partners, and industry collaborators with the resources they need to conduct high-quality research and technical projects.
Users may request access, training, technical assistance, and research support by completing a request form via the links below. Each facility includes its own description, safety requirements, and designated USCA contact to assist you through the process.
All activities will be supervised by USCA faculty or staff.
High Performance Computing (HPC) Multiscale Modeling Lab
The HPC Multiscale Modeling Lab provides a collaborative computational environment for USCA faculty, CSE Research Affiliates, Department of Energy facilities, and industry partners to work on multiscale modeling and computational research deliverables. The facility supports high-impact research with regional, state, and national relevance, including economic development projects and advanced manufacturing initiatives.

Pacer Makerspace & Machine Shop
The Makerspace and Machine Shop are vital resources for engineering and science students, offering access to fabrication tools, machining equipment, and prototyping capabilities. 3D Printing Laboratory
USCA’s 3D Printing and Prototyping Lab enhances the university’s design and fabrication ecosystem by providing a diverse array of additive manufacturing technologies.
