Drone Flight Camp – Program Description
The AINautics Drone Flight Camp is an exciting, hands-on experience designed for high school students who are ready to explore the world of drone technology, aviation, and competition.
Throughout this immersive camp, students will learn how to safely operate drones, develop flight control skills, and participate in real-time aerial challenges. Campers will gain exposure to the fast-growing drone industry while building confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Participants will:
- Learn the fundamentals of drone flight and safety
- Practice real-world flight maneuvers and control techniques
- Compete in fun drone racing and obstacle challenges
- Explore how drones are used in careers such as media, construction, public safety,and engineering
- Work both individually and in teams to complete missions and competitions
This camp is designed to be both fun and competitive, giving students the opportunity to test their skills against their peers while learning from experienced instructors.
No prior drone experience is required.

Students should demonstrate:
- Strong interest in STEM and technology
- Basic skills in math and science

Meals
The Ruth Patrick Science Education Center (RPSEC) and AINautics does not provide snacks or lunch.
Students must bring:
- Lunch
- Snacks
Staff will supervise all breaks.
Camp Policies
Check-In / Check-Out
- Daily check-in and check-out must be completed by a parent or guardian
- Any changes to pick-up must be communicated in writing
Pick-Up Policy
- Only authorized individuals may pick up students
- Students will not be released outside of designated areas
Refund Policy
- 14+ days prior: 75% refund (minus $10 fee)
- 5–13 days prior: 50% refund (minus $10 fee)
- Less than 5 days: No refund
If minimum enrollment is not met, a full refund (100%) will be issued.

- No extended care is available
- $35 service charge applies to returned checks
- Parking available in front of RPSEC
